Affordable Occasions came to fruition after years of planning high-end events and understanding through experience that a spectacular event doesn’t have to be expensive. Our team of professionals is comprised of design consultants, project managers, budget specialists, a setup crew and innovative event planners. We are friendly, down-to-earth and truly love our jobs. Our clients are like family to us and we put our heart and souls into creating memorable events for them.
The innovative team of Affordable Occasions is inspired by the creative direction of Karen Gazzara, a certified project manager with a background in corporate events and marketing design. In addition, Karen grew up in the restaurant industry. She has planned countless weddings as well as social & corporate events for guests ranging from 30 to 30,000 nationwide. Karen brings over 18 years of hands-on experience in event planning and design. She also teaches corporate event planning and wedding planning at a college in Massachusetts.
